Tulchan-Lodge is a classic Victorian country lodge built in 1870 and offers a sophisticated ambience for your stay in Scotland. The lodge was renovated in the 1990´s and you can therefore enjoy all modern comforts.
The house lies in a picturesque garden on a scenic spot at the foot of the heather coated hills. An elegant and comfortable drawing room together with a smaller salon both with open fireplaces and cosy upholstery are at your disposal. Enjoy the impressive dining room and make yourself at home in the lovely conservatory full of light and atmosphere. Enjoy the first class meals prepared in the roomy kitchen on the traditional Aga stove. We take special care when selecting the produce for our three-course menus. Local ingredients, sourced from sustainable sources are our first choice. Game from the estate and also salmon caught by our guests complement our meals.
There is room for up to 14 guests at one time staying in 7 luxurious double rooms. A laundry service and internet connection are available throughout your stay.
We rent the lodge per week for exclusive use but also accommodate smaller groups of a minimum of 4 guests for shorter visits.
Tulchan Estate is situated in the valley of Glenisla, Angus, Perthshire, in the southern part of the Grampian Mountains only a few miles off the main highway A 93.
It can be reached by car in a two hours drive from the airports in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The airports of Inverness and Aberdeen are less than three hours away.
Taxi services to the airports and for other trips around the area are available at any time.
